Who is Cracked Sage?

Created by a happy blend of several individuals, Cracked Sage is a forum for a group of extracted intellectuals. We noticed our particular approaches to life don't get much play out there in the web world.

We wanted a frame to enter the public dialog with our unique views on the world's challenges and how to overcome them... and have a little fun, too! We are resource management specialists, biologists, international relations professionals, public policy wonks, wilderness survivalists, outdoor enthusiasts, gardeners, and educators. We are also mothers, brothers, sisters, fathers and friends. We believe that the United States and the global community have some troubles on the road ahead, but that if communities and families work together, we can make it through. We feel strongly that life will be sweeter on the other side of the rainbow!

We're striving to be clear-minded about the issues of genuine importance to our country and our world. We believe that by approaching problems with clarity, maturity, and a dose of humor, we can zero in on long-term solutions to the challenges we're now facing. Once we address the best ways to organize our colorful society, making space for ways of life that are environmentally sustainable and best promote human happiness, the world will be a better place, and a lot more fun!

This is our forum, and these are our thoughts, contributions, and solutions. Sage wisdom, and just a little cracked.
